Alberobello

We got up early to catch the market at Alberobello, a place we didn’t make it to last year. It is known for its rather large congregation of trulli, the small round stone houses with conical roofs found in this part of Italy (see extras - is anyone else having trouble uploading extras?). I got to talking to these two lovely women who were born in England and have lived in Australia for so long they consider themselves Aussies. They just seemed to exude joy!
