Giant's Causeway
Today we took a tour to the Giant's Causeway, on the north coast of Northern Ireland. "It is is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption", to quote the Wiki article. The main blip focuses on some of the columns, while the first extra gives a broad view. We also saw a number of pied wagtails--one is in the second extra. It was an excellent full-day experience. I'll leave it at that for now, since it has gotten very late :)
