Nest Egg

Mad busy day today. Woke up early and walked to Nyarutarama to see the lake, the woodland, and the many and various beasties that live therein. Within about 10 minutes I found this tree covered in hundreds of nests built by small yellow and black birds. Hundreds of them, and only on this one tree. Also came across a few herons, some ducks, hundreds of butterflies and dragonflies, and the remnants of an abandoned fairground.

Returned home after 4 hours, only to jump out to Amahoro for the big Rwandan football rivalry - APR vs Rayyon - which was mad. Goalkeepers punching strikers in the face, 8/9 bookings without a red, 4 goals, studs and elbows everywhere and a 2-2 draw. This will not be my last trip to one of these!
