TRAIL OF TEARS

I have grown runner beans and broad beans for years, but this year I've also grown beans for drying.  These are 'Cherokee Trail of Tears' black beans.  They are rather late in being planted out, as I lacked a space until I started lifting the spuds.

My son came for lunch and finished off cutting the hedge - whew.  That's it for another year. A slow day with lots to do, but little energy to do it.
