THE RESCUE

It really wasn't behaving sensibly in the kitchen so I had to resort to a glass to help it escape. I think it's a Large Yellow Underwing moth (Noctua pronuba).

We're away for the next few days, celebrating B's 70th birthday on Tuesday with his siblings and his uncle and aunt. I'm not taking a laptop, so it'll be backblips later in the week. And now I have to rush off and do my Mum's online supermarket order, and then get baking so that there are some cakes to take with us tomorrow!
