Go Grace Go

We arrived early so we could watch the sprint races. Fiona B ran early for GB and for a long time held pole position before being overhauled by the eventual winner and silver medalist. Grace went out a bit later and was down by 45 seconds at the spectator control. She flew round the second half of the course nearly overhauling the eventual silver medalist to gain a deserved bronze medal.

I had the pleasure of seeing Grace when she was 16 at Lagganlia (a training camp for junior Orienteers). She stood out even then as a prospect for the future. A real privilege to watch her deliver today.
