Intruder

Well, I was struggling to think of and find a blip today - until this happened!
I was with my daughter in her kitchen when she saw a man sprinting across the lawn. She downed tools and ran to the front door to alert her husband who was washing the car on the drive but he had already taken off down the road after the guy; he wasn't quick enough - maybe a good thing. A few seconds later a car came speeding down their cul-de sac, whizzed round and took off after the intruder. There were a few dodgy looking characters in it.
The girls saw all this and were quite scared. I told them he was just a naughty boy who had probably broken someone's window with a football and was running away scared.
The police were informed.
