Familiar Bluet
I went back to where I had seen these tiny damselflies a few weeks ago and found them still darting around the same area. I had a few closer shots but I wanted to show how really tiny it is. This male is probably about an inch long and is clinging to a blade of grass. My book shows several tiny "bluets" in Colorado so I'm not 100% sure on the ID....maybe more like 90%. :-)
I am grateful to Becky for bringing us left overs from her BBQ yesterday for us to BBQ tonight. Time to go fire up the grill! :-)
I just posted yesterday's blip a few hours ago. Take a look if you want to see our snow capped mountains.
