Big Monkey Dad!

Today we took Toddler E to Edinburgh Zoo. The heavens opened just as we walked though the top gate, so we immediately took shelter in the Chimpanzee enclosure (aka the Badongo Trail).

Toddler E however has decided that Darwin wasted his time, these are not Chimps, or Chimpanzees they are just Monkeys, Big ones but still Monkeys! I Suppose it can be confusing for a 21 month old, after all the Dear Zoo book confused the living daylights out of him and convinced him that all Cows and Horses are in fact Camels in disguise!

This was taken with my new EF 70-300 F4-5.6 IS USM a Lovely lens and on a nicer day it would be amazing at the Zoo. I just need to to get a UV and CPL filter for it, I could have done with the CPL for shooting through the glass.
