Sunday: Fat Mao

We watched the last 20 minutes of the World Cup this morning - it's amazing how women's football has taken off in the last few years.  I have discovered the internet, or at least the google search engine is sexist.  Apparently Abby Wambach, the female US international is the top international goal scorer of all time, male or female.  Type the question into Google, though, and the answer comes up as Ronaldo - top male scorer.  That's not right.....

Later in the morning, we met up with Aunty V and Uncle E at Fat Mao's, a fabulous noodle place in Chinatown.  I had duck noodles which were just amazing.  We then popped into Massy Books - all I'll say is that it would have been rude to have left empty handed......

We were then going to go our separate ways when a bunch of fire engines pitched up the parkade (the one with our car in it).  It wasn't immediately clear that the parkade was on fire (which is wasn't) but, as we were immobilized, what else to do but go and have a drink while we waited for the fuss to die down?
