Ruined

Poor farmers must have a lot of ruined hay bales this year. This one is in a field on the edge of Tewksbury in Gloucestershire. Well it should be a field but isn't at the moment. Ross and I went there today and couldn't believe how much water there is everywhere. We saw 3 little cottages which are completely surrounded with what looks like at least a metre of water! The River Severn should be about half a mile from the town and the town should just have a little river running along the edge of it but all the rivers have merged into one huge one.

Also stopped in Cirencester for a wander and 'lunch' (it was 3.30pm) before coming home again.
