Antiquing

Dear Diary,

I use to haunt these kinds of places.  I loved "antiquing" back in the day.  I don't collect any more, I simply don't have the room for bringing more things into my house but I still like to poke around and look.  This is a shop in the town next to me which is gaining a reputation as a mecca for antique hunters.  I had a pleasant chat with the owner.  The lure of antiques is waning.  Young people aren't interested.  A shame really but I suppose tastes change, times change.  Each object holds such history, so many stories but no one is interested in listening any more.
