Indoor Blip: Red Light Deconstruct

Both more textile and sculptural in large.
Extra: Straight version

I knew that this bunch had potential...
We've a mixed bunch of cut flowers (&c.) at home which have been withering rather impressively, and have now reached the shedding petals phase portending an imminent cull... There are poppy seed heads, peonies, and Hydrangea amongst the rather eclectic mix, and they've reached quite different states of tiredness. It was the "gold leaf" shimmer on some fallen petals that caught my eye, and I chased it with the flash, discovering that the petals filtered the light resulting in a rather unexpected range of pink and red hues...

My other (camera and flash) angles are on this page (or right from Gold lips)
