Another lovely summer’s day.
Quite busy with washing and household chores.
Did manage half an hour sat in the garden reading after lunch.

Mr C has been trying to contact Kirlees Planning department.
Our cottage as you know is Grade 2 listed.
We needed to know if we can replace some wooden sash windows. One of which is going rotten.
They would be made of wood, and look identical, but would be Double glazed instead of single glazed. ( More environmentally friendly)
After holding on for 15 mins. he finally got to speak to someone. Was then told to go online and look on the website.
“ It is complicated. Can’t I just speak to someone?”
Answer “ No”.
Needless to say he is very frustrated.
I have looked on the website and it doesn’t help with any of our queries.
Why can’t you just speak to anyone anymore?

Wine club this evening.
