Close Encounter
MONDAY
Today we headed over to Ballycastle to catch the high speed ferry across to Rathlin Island. We were on the lookout for dolphins but never really expected to see a minke whale which came in close and swam right underneath the ferry. [See extra].
On Rathlin we visited the RSPB reserve to see the puffins, guillemots, razor bills, fulmars and kittiwakes. Back at Rathlin harbour we saw seals and oystercatchers.
