Should one lose something...

It's no good just searching the house and the side passage, as I did yesterday and this morning. One has to go back to where one last saw it, even though that was in a churchyard some miles away. And there was the dog's muzzle, just where I left it, after taking it off following our walk in the forest last weekend. Good job I didn't leave the dog there for a week and brought the muzzle home instead.
