Nuts
Face covered in red lumps and itching horribly, after Saturday's midge-infested concert. Trying not to scratch!
A mid-afternoon walk on the Common with MrM. Beside the path are two hazel trees with the most beautiful red leaves. In the Spring they have pretty dark pink catkins and, this year, for the first time they are bearing nuts. Just now they resemble spiky flowers!
