12 for 2012

Quiet day today - not much happening apart from some cleaning and reading.  Coming close to the end of the year now, so time to look back over some memorable and favourite blips for the year counting down from 12...

12... 12/12/12, a momentus day.  The last triple digit date I'll see!

11 v 11... Forres v Fraserburgh for the Championship, then Forres v Rangers in the Cup.

10... years since Graduation - time flies!

9... Olympic and Paralympic athletes honoured with gold postboxes in Scotland - I managed blips for those dedicated to Chris Hoy (Hunter Square and Hanover Street), Heather Stanning (Lossiemouth), Andy Murray (Dunblane), Tim Baillie (Westhill) and Craig Maclean (Grantown).  Tim Baillie's second, Katherine Grainger (Aberdeen), Neil Fachie (Aberdeen), David Smith (Aviemore) all done, and in the blipfolio, but I still need to get the one in Peebles!

8... Scotland, the world over blips.  Seven of these in the final film (1 2 3 4 5 6 7), and one to celebrate the premiere.

7... day old baby.

6... days without a car at the start of the year.

5... Olympic rings - what a year for sport.

4... Eurovision geeks.

3... weddings, of people I know - Robert, Bruv and Angela.  And one for someone I don't!

2... yolk eggs.  I'm still amazed!

1... thousand blips, reached on the 25 April.  Unfortunately, it was followed by 1... missed day on 8 July, but since it's a leap year, we're still good for 365 this year!  Also 1... special award for the Special Constable of the Year!
