Post -Prandial Stroll

Forecast is for rain for rest of week so decided to head over to Allean Forest (just past Queens View) after tea for a stroll.

This is an old favourite taking in an old Clachan & an Iron Age Fort and glimpses of Loch Tummel. The bracken  was deep and high throughout the wood and is threatening to take over the fort, although it does look like the area around it is reasonably well tended. 

Something quite special about standing in a spot where people lived thousands of years ago.
