Evening walk

We walked up Darleith Road round Drumhead Farm this evening as the light faded. It's beautiful and peaceful up around these hills . Sounds of cows and sheep and birdsong.
Life has been a bit too full these last weeks with work days and guest days pushing out solitary days- and I miss those .
We had a very lovely short visit from my niece Ruth who is here from Nepal. I really enjoyed our conversation.
We are heading to North Uist tomorrow - I haven't been back since I stopped my job. So looking forward . :)
