Oh Deer!

On the way home from the store this afternoon we stopped by the Housenick estate looking for some deer. They usually feed in the fields surrounding the estate. And we got lucky ~ there were some out!

Unfortunately, as soon as you get out of the car and start walking towards them, they run off. I was able to get two shots before they scattered. This was the best. Can you image what the other looked like if this was the better of the two?!?

Hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of the year!! Where does the time go when you're blipping?!?
