I need...

...some more photo paper for different paintings I want to do - for the string painting, for the alcohol ink painting (I made the alcohol inks a couple of years ago from food colouring very cheaply and they are still perfect), for encaustic wax painting, and more stuff.

But there is no photo paper in any of the places I used to get it - the £1 shops etc. None anywhere.

Tired myself out this morning looking in different places. So Popeye and I have been chilling out in the potting shed this afternoon.

It's been raining, but it's a very fine rain which is very refreshing and the garden is loving it. It feels very fresh.

Got my portable LED light in the potting shed and it's very effective. So I am going to order another portable one so there is always one ready charged.

I took dozens of photos this afternoon, but don't like any. So I remembered this painting which has been hanging around between the alcohol ink bottles the last 2 years! so, I got it out. It is on photographic paper, and the reason I like the photographic paper because you can do the inks (and encaustic wax painting) on the non shiny side, and this creates interesting effects because the shiny side stops the ink bleeding through and creates its own effects. Which is why I liked this ink painting. But I never got round to posting it!

I have some more places to look later this week for some photo paper.

Popeye is blissfully asleep on my feet.

The bungalow is still too warm from the last few days, so I am hanging out in the potting shed awhile longer...at least as long as the rechargeable LED lamp lasts out...
