Little England?

These are the allotments in New Bradwell, on the northern side of Milton Keynes.  I was there to buy a used iPad Air which was going for about half price, but I had arrived a little early so I wandered to use the spare time.

And these allotments were lovely!  Situated next to the Great Ouse park, surrounded by mature deciduous trees (chestnuts, I think) the place was lush and green, with keen gardeners really enjoying their cultivation.

Whatever the political leanings of this allotment owner, the England flag now has unfortunate connotations, about which I feel quite sorry.  But they were a cheerful bunch and I enjoyed exchanging greetings with them (and quite a long conversation with an Italian gardener).  It was fun.
