Hanging on

Our lavender is covered in happy bees most of the summer (probably due to having a neighbour along the road who is an apiarist...hmmmm, I wonder what that is in German...) yesterday I found one (a bee, not a bee keeper) 'collapsed' under the plant, so I carefully scooped him up and left him with some honey on a plate.
