Intrepid Climber

I started my day with a five mile run.  It was a lovely morning and I came back and dressed for summer. I sorted things out and headed into town for a few things, leaving TT doing some work in the garden.  When I got back he was on the roof!  Our eighty year neighbour was threatening to go up on the roof, so TT felt he had to step in  and help out.  We were supposed to be leaving to visit friends late morning.  Suffice to say that didn’t happen.

We eventually set off and headed straight up the road, realising we had had no lunch, so we stopped off for a late lunch and then made our way on to out friend’s house.  They were having a barbeque.  They laid on a magnificent selection of food and drink and although it wasn’t the warmest evening of summer, we all sat out chatting by the fire pit till the wee small hours  It was a really lovely evening.  We were all very tired when we eventually got to bed.
