The Corn Slip

It’s no very often I give you the Slip.  Into town for a quick morning message; the sky was quite benign.  By mid-day we realised Summer had ended and it was non-stop rain by 2.00 pm with the heating back on.  And with added Robertsons from Harray.  So we all had a collective pleep, moan and gurn.  With three teachers in the room it felt like an EIS meeting, so I took the minutes.  The last EIS meeting I was in was at the bar of the Fiddichside Inn.

Although I am sitting in the porch I’m thinking of donning oilskins.

A Glenmorangie Allta has helped ease the pain.
