Loch Bay

Not long after yesterday’s Cuillin walk, the weather broke and a blanket of cloud descended upon the island. It rained all night and most of the morning.

I took a run through Glendale, dodging the surface water on the road past Dunvegan and then onto the Waternish peninsula eventually stopping for lunch at the Stein Inn. My ankle was up to the job so looks like no lasting damage after Saturday.

The pic is of Loch Bay with the wee white houses of Stein on the shore. The cliffs of Rubha Maol rising out the cloud on the left show how low it was. A misty day on the misty isle.
