Popping the Question

I had a lovely lunchtime and afternoon with Alfie, Alice and Caroline (Alices mum). It must be serious when you start meeting up with the parents, so serious in fact that when we caught up with the lovebirds after looking round the market, we thought Alfie was on one knee proposing. Luckily he was just tying Alice’s shoelaces. We had a very good lunch at Prezzos and a wander round the shops before a quick whizz round Waitrose then home.
It’s been one rehearsal after another for Hendstock this evening. Poppy practiced her songs with her friend after school, T and Janine came over to go through ours after dinner, the band are practicing in the music room tonight and Alfie ( just back from football training) has now joined them to go through his songs.
It’s exhausting!
