Trip to York - called in at the outlet centre to splash some cash - prior to visiting daughter and family

Did school run - took 8yo to gym class at Thorganby - passing the village church - before having tea with them - then attending a school leavers production of Grease at Queen Margaret’s School Theatre

10yo performed as T-bird Putzie - was a brilliant way to spend A Summers Night - the enthusiasm and confidence of the cast was second to none - as were their American accents and the choreography - the time passed by like Greased Lightnin’ - had been given instructions from H not to whoop - cheer - or applaud loudly at any time in the performance - for some reason he thinks we can be embarrassing grandparents - but it was impossible not not too - especially since we were sat with members of The Deadpan Players who also appreciated the talents of the cast and expressed it by doing said whooping - cheering - applauding loudly
