We left misty mild Gloucestershire in 20 degrees this morning after a lovely stay in a Cotswold hotel near Laura and Chris and family. We had had a super family time together.

The 340 mile drive home went smoothly despite 3 sets of lengthy roadworks and rain north of Manchester. The temperature dropped 5 degrees en route but recovered when we walked along the promenade here this evening.
