The village festival started on Thursday and will continue until Sunday evening with lots of different events going on. 

Friday night we went to the marquee to see the Houghton Weavers. Today, Saturday, we wandered around the festival field and ended up having a go crown green bowling. In the evening we headed for the walled garden and an outdoor Shskespeare performance.

Tomorrow afternoon we will be opening the bell tower to visitors before going to the final gig on the evening.
