Drum roll ...

This, ladies and gentlemen, is my first whiskey experience.
An Auchentoshan with five drops of water from the brass tap. A three times distilled, single malt whiskey.
Recommended by Scott of Bunchrew House, Inverness, who kindly educated me on the best entry level whisky for a novice.
It lived up to the billing.
A fragrantly mellow, warm heat, turning into a vaporous glow on the tongue.
Took several hours to sip and enjoy in magical surroundings.
A great memory to take away.
