Two chickens and a peacock came into the garden

Seriously, two chickens and a peacock did come into the garden. The chickens then decided to roost in the tree all night rent free.

In other news, we walked up to High Sweden Bridge, Ambleside then wound our way back to Rydal Mount for a rewarding coffee ... and cake !
