Networking :)

It was not a really nice day outside. Grey and a lot of rain. Not so cold though.
In the early afternoon I went to get my nails done. I did not add any coffee or a walk, as it was wet.
Back home I sorted my website - finally my www.ciorstain-photography.com ends up on my new WIP website :) 
and actually it was easy, my web hosting provider did it for me ... ha!!!
I thought that would be a good move, before I go to the networking event and hand out my business cards.
My Canon arrived just before I need to leave. So happy to have it back.
I walked to the Subway to get into the city centre and walked to the venue.
they have rented a room in the Casino. 
It was a nice but smallish crowd of interesting people. A few Writers with interesting business approach, a business developer, a holistic healer with singing bowls, a car sourcing guy, a travel planner and some more.
Everyone was very friendly. After a bit of mingling the official part started and every one could give a one minute pitch of their businesses. Cards were exchanged as well.
After that we had dinner together. The food was not great, but edible. Coffee, tea and soft drinks were included. Nothing to complain for 10 Pounds!
I had a good evening spoke to many people but got stuck in the end with the singing Bowl guy, who I found very interesting and I was also very intrigued about those bowls!!
He let me try and I loved the vibration and the sound it created. So relaxing! I may have to dive into that a bit more, since I have my life back.
Paul, the business developer was interesting too. I could not catch him before he left, but asked to meet up. He suggested tomorrow.
Hell - yes, I can meet people now :)
I left just after 9 pm - being the last with Peter, the energy healer.
Back home I told Neil all about it and we had some more food.
I think it was a great event and I am keen to do more of this.
It may only pay off after a while, but that is fine!
