Home to Heat

Stopped off at Fuzeta on the way home from Faro. It's still within the Ria Formosa area, you can see a few of the fiddler crabs from yesterday on the mud here. Loved the name of this little boat - vou contigo ao mar (I'll go with you to sea). Walked round, still feels more like a fishing town than a tourist resort, though plenty of folk on the lovely beach, and a ferry runs out to the island of white sand in the estuary.

Not a great arrival to our place in Mourão - no water and no electricity, and almost 40°C (that's 104F), no fridge, no fan, no shower... Mike's been working ever since, but no luck so far; he's now trying to get the generator going... managed enough for me to have internet to post this, but no fan at the same time. I've kept out of the way and tried not to overheat by staying quiet...

Gratefuls:
- the delight of Fuzeta
- Mike doing his best
- Cecílio and Ermelinda hauling a load of water in plastic bottles up our road, and offering their house for showers, bed, whatever, definitely a high point of a rather desperate afternoon and evening
