Lakes, glaciers and a spot of fishing

Today began with a fantastic mountain view from our room. A brisk walk to see Tasman Glacier from above and then from closer, where I took this shot.

We drive to Lake Pukaki, where Mr B and Little Miss did a spot of - unsuccessful - fishing and I stalked some birds.

Onwards to my home town of Rangiora. I felt my happiness spike as we drove down Lineside Road towards ‘home’. I miss NZ and Rangiora in particular, so much.

We’re catching up with JL in a little while. I think I miss her most of all.
