Close the Concentration Camps
People in this country are worked up and furious. They want to do something. Because how can you stand by while this happens?
Sue's event is tomorrow and will involve wooden beads, a cage, a walking meditation for maybe fifty people, and Raging Grannies singing a lullaby and starting a hunger strike. Mine is Friday and will involve an altar, a cage, projections, a Master of Ceremonies, musicians, speakers, a meditation leader, a light brigade, and several hundred people with candles. Then we hope to resume our personal lives, although I doubt life will ever feel "normal" again.
I'm still afraid I'm forgetting something essential. Today I bought the marigolds for the altar and was on the phone and the computer from dawn till after midnight.
P.S. New Orleans is flooding.
