ON OUR WAY ....

.... to Vienna, but before we left had a couple of stops .

First was to check out the Nonnberg Abbey in Salzburg. The link thanks to Wiki gives the story and history of this still used as a nun convent. Its history is worth reading about dating back to 987, and having a major refurbishment in 1880.

The view from the front entrance and surrounds is stunning.

We then went back to check out Mondsee as it was a quick stop on the tour yesterday. It was also a superb day and the girls enjoyed the playground on the wonderful Lake Mondsee.
