WHISTLING.....

... through the clear skies!!

Had a top morning at our Workshop here this morning then wandered down to a different spot on the other side of the mighty Hawkesbury river.

Immediately knew something was on as a group of Ducks were flying around, and then a pair of spoonbills followed, and then an Egret!

Ah, there's the culprit.... this Whistling Kite came over the far tree line and used the high wind to soar around the sky.

Then a magpie decided to be a "hero" and chase after the kite!

It slowly moved off but pleased was sort of close enough and stayed long enough for a couple of shots.

Meanwhile, one of the Polo horses was enjoying the sun.
