Towner Art Gallery

Karen came over to visit the Towner Gallery in its decorated form. It’s been painted by Lothar Gotz in celebration of 10 years in its current location.

We took a few photos but decided to come back a bit later as we were shooting into the sun. By the time we’d walked along the seafront to Holywell, eaten our picnic on the beach and stopped for tea/ice cream at Favoloso’s enough time had passed to get the photos we wanted. The clouds had cleared too.

We drove back along the scenic route along Beachy Head to Birling Gap. There were lots of lorries from a Bristol tv company and some of the lay-bys were closed with markers for locations. I’ve no idea what was being filmed but when I do I’ll let you know.

It’s been a lovely day, perfect weather and wonderful company.
