Under his Chinney Chin Chin

An unremarkable photo of a Kookaburra but have a look under the chin of the one of the right.  There is an insect of some kind there.  This is the second time I have got a photo of this. It makes me wonder if there was some sort of symbiotic/parasitic relationship.  Any one know of any?
