What could be more inviting on a hot summer afternoon than a beach and a stretch of water.
Admittedly this is an artificial beach and swimming is strictly prohibited in this lake venue at Testwood in Hampshire. But it is a haven for wildlife and provides a base for dinghy sailing and sail training for local sea scouts and RYA Sailability
Nevertheless the man-made lakes at Testwood are idyllic and especially so on a hot summer’s day.
