~Weather

Gosh we have had all four seasons in the one day here. Went to grab a few odds & sods ! the place was mobbed, looked like a plague of locusts had been and gone!
Why do folks go so mad? the shops are only shut for one day for goodness sakes! Im not bothered mucha bout the New Year hilarities! My childhood memories of New Year in the islands is of a perpetual line of drunks coming to my grandparents house. My grandparents only would have a very small dram and my granny always made food for them which I think was the major attraction! Hubby on night shift, no1 son here but will be out with his mates, no1 daughter in Glasgow & no 2 daughter here but with the boyfriend. So Im having a nice quiet night in , a glass of a cheeky red and watch the usual crap the Teuchtar TV throws at us. It will probably be Phill & Ally as if there ere no others out there and Jackie the bird!
