It was warm today with a pleasant little breeze and we decided to take advantage of it and drive to the coast...…. the beach was quite busy in places, with families taking advantage of the school holidays, and we enjoyed a bit of people watching before going for the inevitable cuppa!  There was a bit of a heat haze going out to sea but we could see Ailsa Craig and Arran fairly clearly.

We took a different route back to the car and I enjoyed the sight of lots of wild roses (see extras)
