A wet end to a sunny day

Was very hot and sticky last night and I slept badly until the recycling box was emptied rather noisily at 7am. I then dozed off into a deep sleep and didn’t wake till nearly 10!

Had a quiet morning watching Mr PHL try to sort out a template for invitations we plan to send out for a small do to celebrate our Silver wedding in August. He has more patience than me and we’re quiet pleased with the end results. Just need to print and address them now!

Walked up to the town centre to drop off a baby gift for one of the lovely ladies in the beauty salon and then onto Tesco for tonight’s tea ingredients.

Tea prepped (chicken, broccoli and mushrooms in a sauce of condensed chicken soup, double cream and mayo mixed with madras curry paste, the whole lot mixed together and topped with breadcrumbs and crumbled cheese before baking in the oven) and time to sort out the washing before sitting down.

Nipped out into the garden before the heavy rain struck to blip this flower (cornflower?) which came in a mixed packet of wildflower seeds.
