Poppies!

Dilston Physic Garden was on the itinerary today, as well as a wander around Corbridge. The garden was really interesting, and shows that there's a plant you can use for just about any ailment you might possibly have, but I did think it was a bit messy...I feel bad saying that as it's perhaps going for a more 'natural' state, but when you've been brought up by a professional gardener with very high standards (yes Maurice1948, I'm looking at you!), it's easy to be disappointed by a lot of gardens! ;-)

I'd heard about a field of poppies near Corbridge, so I wasn't going to leave the area until we found it! Fields of bright colours are such beautiful things!
