Evening fields

The farmers are busy.  Not too long before harvest when they'll be working in the fields as long as there is light.  We spotted these bales of hay shining in the evening sun.  I like the way the light catches the shiny polythene wrap.  I wonder how this scene will look on the same day next year.

My second image was taken early this morning.  The barn door was ajar and I saw how the light fell on the gardening tools.  I mustn't shy away from snapping the mundane; it's the stuff of life.
