Dog on Knee

Bric a brac Friday in Loughborough and mind the Berber Shop day. This was a quick grab shot while wandering round the market. This little stall is where you come to pick up second  hand soft toys, if you're so minded.

I rather liked the spaniel sitting on the man's knee.

While Aziz was away, some khaleeji ladies entered the shop, started photographing everything and chose a bracelet for Mum. I watched them closely.

One of them, a young lady who we were told is studying medicine at Nottingham, was dressed in a rather funky way, khaleeji (Gulf Arab) style. They loved Basil.

I went to the butcher's and when I came back, discovered Aziz deep in haggling with the older lady as she was buying the bracelet. He accompanied her out of the shop, round the corner as it happened where she walked into an estate agent and required a six bedroom house for rent, in immaculate condition, immediately. She paid Aziz in full for the bracelet but told him she enjoyed the haggling. Where she came from, it was hard for to indulge in such simple pleasures.

They were only Qatari royal family!
