I bought myself a garden bird feeder for christmas.

It is loaded with suet balls, multi-high-energy mixed seeds and peanuts. I would have thought that it would make a very pleasant 3 course meal for our feathered friends.

But we seem to have very discerning birds here in South Glos. They have turned their noses up at my offerings. Perhaps next door they have caviar, oysters and truffles!!

I had hoped to blip some of the more colourful species....

I am sure that when I am not looking out of the window, all sorts of feathery exotica turn up for a light snack. Ostrich, dodo and even Rod Hull and Emu munch away behind my back.
