A new project!!

Today began with sad news. I’d missed two calls as I drove to my sewing group, but seeing the number I was prepared. My friend died at 4am, very peacefully in her own home and with her daughters at her bedside. I am so pleased that we visited her last month and we could share our memories whilst she was relatively well.

I had planned to start a new quilt today, so started to tackle the enormous job of cutting out, once I began to decipher the instructions!!!!

I was a bit distracted at times , but my two friends who share our group of tables are both nurses and understand how we cope with these situations.
